Slingerland Chicago Pre-Serial Swirly S Badge - 1956-59 Original White Marine Pearl Wrap One Ply Thick Solid Maple Shell with One Ply Re-Rings Chrome over Brass Leedy Rims/Hoops 8x Sound King Lugs, 3-Point Throw-Off with Extended Gates, Double-Cup Muffler Original Snare Wires still work great Custom Vent holes between every other set of lugs. 2nd owner acquired from well-known NY drum teacher in early 60s like this Unique drum not 100% factory but vintage configuration, been like this for at least 60 years Matching set also available

Condition Description: G - drum is in good condition. Wrap is original and mostly clean with minimal fading, still light color, but has some scratches, checking, and signs of use. Hardware is mostly original except hoops have been switched out for rare 30s Leedy chrome over brass, extended butt gate has a replacement set screw, and has 3 extra vent holes with grommets. Very unique and incredible sounding drum. Shell is good except for a spot of resonant re-ring separation near the shell seam. Seems stable, not a problem, but could be clamped down and repaired
