Condition Description: VG - very good condition drum set. Bass Drum has 4 extra holes where rail mount was positioned in panel below where badge is. Bass hoops have later version black oyster inlay. 13" Tom bearing edges have been re-cut. Floor tom legs not original. No other extra holes or modifications, otherwise all drums factory original with all period correct parts and hardware. Toms have original chrome over brass rims. Original pre-serial keystone badges on all drums, appear stock. Black Oyster Pearl wraps all factory original with wrap going into wood seam of the shells. Wraps show consistent matching fading showing they are likely a factory original drum set from a transition era (Ludwig started painting shells white the year this drum set was born - 1961). Wood shells in great shape with mostly tight re-rings and smooth bearing edges. 13" tom white paint interior shows some wear and has smell. Heads are like new and the best money can buy -- Remo Ambassadors coated and clear with Evans Emad Bass Batter.
