Vintage Drum Heads

Head fitment starts with diameter and use: batter sides take the stick, resonant sides voice the shell, and snare-side heads run thin for wire response. Vintage plastic heads from the 50s–70s (Weather Master, Sound King, Big R) are era-correct for restorations and often outlast their modern equivalents.
