Used Snare Drums

A used snare is the fastest upgrade in drumming: the right shell and edges change your whole kit's voice for the price of a pedal. The drums on this page are checked for the things that matter to a player — round shells, working strainers, and rims that seat heads evenly.

Steel shells cut and project, brass adds musical complexity, and wood warms everything up. If you gig weekly, a chrome-over-steel workhorse at a used price is the smart money; if you record, step up to brass or vintage maple. Every drum shows its actual wear in the photos.
