Condition Description: EXC - excellent condition, no mods, no extra holes, literally 100% factory original. Opening up the drums for pictures may have been the first time these had ever been opened. Each drum has an original Ludwig head on both the batter and resonant side. Every single tension rod and washer is original. Bearing edges are pristine, no nicks, no damages at all. Re-rings and plies are all tight with no separation. Rare combination from arguably the best era of Ludwig: Keystone badges with natural maple interiors and round knob mufflers. Head have no holes, splits or damages. All still tunable and actually still sounds great. Bass hoops have original inlays and black paint 99% intact. Bass wrap has 1 mark, could be cleaned off with novus or similar, no gouges or deep scratches in any of the drums wraps. Rail mount 100% original factory parts and still works great. Later ratchet style that works much better than earlier versions. This is a special find. Collectors condition. Chrome hardware 100% original, no rust, no deep pitting, just minor surface wear, could be shined up to look almost new. Badges all original, no grommets show any sign of tampering.
